eh!

Depressed and despondent after reading how much fun everyone else had at SXSW? Here's some stuff to pass the time.

Have you seen "Max" from the "L Word" in Bright Eyes' video for "First Day of My Life"? Check it out and more videos than you'll ever see on a Saturday night on MTV at ClipTip.

Did someone say "dream gig"? MTV and Rolling Stone announced yesterday that they are sticking to what they know and joining another bandwagon. This one however, doesn't involve slutty moms or bratty 16-year-olds. It's a reality show in which the cameras follow aspiring journalists as they compete for a one-year staff position with the magazine. According to the press release, the competitors will "cover a wide array of writing assignments -- including artist and entertainment profiles, national affairs, politics and pop culture. While facing tight deadlines, each candidate will work with the magazine's top editors to hone their writing skills and score interviews with major musicians, actors and politicians."

OK, maybe that's not so dreamy after all. I just know that I will not be able to stand watching this show because I'll be so pissed that pretty drama queens and frat daddies are getting to meet such cool people.

Here, calm yourself and tune in to the new KCRWmusic.com. You can listen in iTunes, Real Player or Windows Media. According to the radio station itself, "This new stream features original programming along with some of your favorite music shows from the airwaves at KCRW. It is designed for the adventurous music fan -- all-music, commercial free, 24/7."

The adventurous music fan? Is that me? Guess I'll have to find out!

And don't say I didn't warn you! Check out this article from The News Journal: EPA Finally Admits Teflon May be Unsafe.

Thanks for the ClipTip link! I don't think I will have any room for songs on my iPod after I download some of these videos. I was so excited to see that they had Vitalic's "Birds" on there. I have had that on my iPod for weeks and cannot stop playing it!!!!!
